The AECS General English courses are a great way to learn English and develop your confidence using the language. You will improve your ability to communicate in English by:
Improving your spoken your spoken fluency:
- Working on your pronunciation
- Expending your vocabulary
- Developing your grammatical accuracy
- Improving your listening, reading and writing skills
During your class you will participate in stimulating and communicative activities that will help you develop your English skills. Classes are available for all levels from beginners through advanced.
At the end of each level of your General English course, you will take TOEFL practice Test. As you advance through the levels at AECS, you will be able to see how you are progressing. You will receive a AECS Student Progress Card after the end of the term and a AECS Certificate after you have completed the required levels.
During your course, you will use an original course book, (published by Longman Press, and will be taught by an expatriate teacher or an experienced Indonesian English Language Instructor, depending on the branch.
One level of general classes at AECS involves 22 - 33 hours of classroom study, and 50 hours of TOEFL class, 52 hours for In house training. You can choose many hours and how many days you want to study per week. Classes are available at various times during the mornings, afternoons and evenings.
- Regular English classes meet twice a week, and cover
- 50 hours of TOEFL class, 52 hours for in House Training.
- Intensive English classes meet five days per week and finish on AECS level in only 4 weeks.
